St Therese's Little Way

Oct. 1st Happy Feast Day of St Therese of Lisieux

the Little Flower of the Child Jesus

ree

I decided to make a blog about her today because it is her feast day and she is my confirmation saint who guides me through life helping me out along the way interceeding for me to our Lord. I am releasing a new song today in her honor inspired by things she said in her life. It's called "Little Deeds" and it'll be in all stores today. A New Saint based Album is on the way this month too.

Who was Therese?

She grew up with two saints of parents (Literally they became saints too) Her mother passed when she was young but her father kept the faith strong in their household of her and her many sisters too some of which entered carmel with her. She wanted to enter early and even asked the pope to allow her in before the required age. She eventually made it as a nun and her focus was doing small things with great Love that is what she felt called by Jesus to let the world know small things can make a great difference too. She was the Little flower of Jesus because of her references to being a small flower of Jesus and that she reconized she couldn't do very big things but she ended up doing something big by doing little things. She spent her days in solitude of the convent in prayer and silent suffering at times toward the end of her life. She focused on praying for people that she would hear about on the outside who had fallen into sin or were ill and her prayers because of her great love of Jesus and faith in Him were answered. She spent her heaven as she said she would as well. "I will spend my heaven doing good upon the earth" She explained she could do so much more to get souls to heaven from heaven. That she did. So many miracles of healings on battlefields during the war, and more are still being reported to this day. She inspires us all to focus not on worldly things, but to work to get our soul to Jesus and to go out and bring souls to Jesus. She was known for her little way of doing smalll deeds with big love.

I highly recommend her book "Story Of A Soul".

Even from heaven she is known for sending roses of graces toward us to help guide us closer to Jesus and help us through times of suffering. She spends her heaven doing good upon the earth as she said she would. I have had prayers answered through her intercession as well. Someone I know always says after anything good that happens "answered prayers!" or "that's an answered prayer right there." We do have so many things to be thankful for

Another valuable lesson that she taught us is that "the world is our ship not our home" We musn't get so focused on likes on our posts or what the world wants us to be, or other things of this earthly world that are fleeting and meaningless when we need to be training and prepping ourselves for heaven. As a Catholic SInger Songwriter I know my mission is to train to prepare myself to use my gifts God gave me to sing for Jesus someday and we all must use our gifts and abilities to get ourselves and others to heaven for example sharing things online that help share the gospel, or getting a friend to go back to confession, or mass. There is much we can do everyday in our lives to prepare ourselves for Heaven. Don't forget you arent alone Ask St Therese and your guardian angel for guidance finding your calling where God wants you to be. Try asking her for the grace of a closer relationship with Jesus, but don't forget that you need to make time for Jesus in your busy schedule so you can grow closer to Him, hear His call, listen, and speak with Him.

How can you reflect Jesus and make sure as many souls as possible go to heaven. We don"t have to do Big things as Therese says some of us can do small things but with great Love thats what matters. She also taught about how we must all humble ourselves make ourselves little like little children so that we don't fall into the sin of pride.

We must strive for heaven and to become saints as she did so to do things on earth for our soul and to get others souls to heaven too .She inspires us all to focus not on worldly things, but to work to get our soul to Jesus and to go out and bring souls to Jesus. I want to become a saint How about You?

"I will let fall from heaven a shower of roses."
