Power of the Blood

It’s July the month of the precious blood so I’ve been thinking about this lately and this is what came to me.

In the Old Testament, 📖the Israelites put blood over their doors 🚪 so that when death would pass by they would be protected by the Blood of a Lamb.

Now we must continue to take seriously how we do the same! I don’t just mean when you put the chalk inscription blessing over your doors. That’s a beautiful thing as well but I’m talking about the most important one…. during Holy Mass, The Eucharist!

We Receive the Blood of the Lamb (Jesus the Lamb of God who was sacrificed to save us from our sins) 🐑🍷🫓

He protects us from death now!

As the Israelites covered their homes with the blood of the lamb to be protected from evil & death, We receive the Body & Blood of The Lamb to cover Our Souls, protecting against evil, temptations, & the hour of death.

The Eucharist is so important in many ways, & this is just one of the great ways that was revealed to me during prayer time.

Cover Your Soul with the Blood of the Lamb so that when evil (sin which can lead to your destruction) comes a knocking at your soul, you can resist, being saved by the Body & Blood of the Lamb (Our Lord Jesus Christ!) Then you will be better able to fight off sin and temptations that lead to death with the help of Jesus who acts as a shield to protect you through His most precious Blood. 🩸

• Receiving Him Who Defeated Death Already, We are better prepared to fight temptation of sin and evil that wants to lead us to death (hell) but Jesus gives His people the way to Eternal Life (Heaven).

Prayer: Lord Jesus through Your most precious Body & Blood & By Your Most Holy Passion save us & wash us clean of our sinfulness. Help us to remember we are children of God the Father. Make us New.

Father I offer you the most precious body & blood of our Lord Your Son Jesus Christ & His 5 Holy Wounds in atonement for our sins & those of the whole world especially those dear to us in our own homes (name your families & friends) & for our personal intentions that you know in the silence of our hearts. We also offer up our daily struggles, our joys, our sufferings, small acts of kindness/love, our work/chores, complaints, little inconviences, etc for the souls in purgatory and those most in need of your mercy especially those struggling with sin or an illness or addiction or grief that they may be comforted by Your Divine Mercy. Anyone who is about to sin I beg you to send Your Angels to intercede for them on the behalf of Your children who are most faithful to you so that those most in can be saved and turn away from their sinful ways. May we always be a people of Joy spreading Your Good News to the world in all that we say and do so that everyone we encounter (speak to or work with or whatever it may me) that we may reflect You & radiate Your Light to the World. Help us to remember those poor, sick, suffering, & those most in need on earth that we can assist in some way. We’re listening Lord Jesus. Show us what Your Good Plan is for Your Children. Thank you for All of Your Blessings. Thank you for sending us our guardian angel to watch over & help us, thank you for our families , this day, our pet, our health, (whatever else you may be thankful for) We Love You, We Need You, We Trust In You. We pray for peace, love, compassion, we pray for first responders, ll who offer up their talents to speak or sing, or proclaim Your praises through their work/career path, those who serve You by serving others, for the priests, religious, & all who serve Your Catholic Church.

We ask You to please send Your Holy Spirit down to help us grow in the virtues through the gifts & fruits He gives to us. Lord not my will but Yours be done all the days of my life.

Mother Mary please intercede for us with your powerful prayers. Holy saints of God continue to guide us closer to the will of the Father so that we may accomplish it in our lives. We ask all of this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
