Sun or Candle?

I’ve been listening to these songs from Peter’s Barque one line in one said something about how we are reaching for a candle 🕯️ for a light but God is offering us the sun ☀️ instead. What we want (our will) is usually only able to see small temporary things that eventually burn out, but God sees what we really need.

God I give up my will today to You. Take it from me and replace it with Your will.
