Offering at the Alter

Offering

In the Old testament people offered a sacririce to God on the alter a lamb, or some animal. Now as the New testament shows us, we still offer up a sacrifice at mass every Sunday! Jesus is the Lamb of God. Truly reflect on this today as I recently was while I was reading my bible the other night and it hit me how powerful that really is. Its not some symbol that other christians think it is Truly This Is Jesus. God Sent His Son to suffer and die to become our sacrifice our offering to Him for forgiveness of our sins. That happens at every mass!Jesus Loves Us That Much that He offers Himself to the Father for Our Sake! So We Have a Chance At Heaven with Him and the Father forever!!! Do we leave mass changed? St PADre pio said a Prayer after taking the eucharist and the part I remember was "Stay with me". Stay with me! i say that when I recieve communion. With that and the other prayer before comunion "I am not worthy but only say the word and my soul shall be healed" both are us confirming and acknologing that we can't do anything without Him! We Need Jesus to Get to the Father. We aren't worthy. God Knew that. That's why He sent His Son for Us. Wow, I think as I sit here at home, I cant wait til the next mass! I can't believe How much God Loves Me! How increcible! Thank You SO Much GOD!

John 1:29: "Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

Matthew 26:26: "Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, 'Take, eat; this is my body.'"
