New Years Prayer Resolution

Happy New Year! I pray it will be a blessed one for you all, and a year of growth in faith, peace, and love. All of those things come from Jesus and can be found when you find Him at the alter.

My New Years Prayer Resolutions that I've been reflecting about new years resolution and what that means and I've been praying about what I could improve on. You can think of your resolution too. Do I get distracted in prayer, do I gossip, or whatever it may be... So I was reading a post about phrases and words that saints lived by and that they can be a good one to choose from for the new year and yes they all are very good but I felt I needed to find one that I really needed to work on personally. I talked to Jesus about it and got my answer so in this blog today I want to share this with you and hopefully it can be a good prayer resolution for your new year and I pray that you find where God is calling you to dig deep and find how you can grow in your faith this year. (Prayer life,works,

maybe not complaining as much, but instead, serving Jesus by serving others better, etc...) Many of you know that I record Daily Prayers Sung on Youtube. If not then please come pray with me sometimes. I was about to record a New Years Blessing Prayer and then I heard these words in my heart and they became my phrase of the year "focus my heart and my eyes upon the cross" (which for me means stop getting distracted during prayer time) and I have a phrase that I always want to try to live by. Spread Joy and Jesus. My Youtube motto. SO...

I have two phrases for 2026 that I hope to live by.

My 2026 Goals: I’m the happiest when I’m cantoring Mass at church singing prayerful hymns of praise and thanksgiving to our Lord. But I'm gonna keep working to get out there because I want to go out onto those bigger stages do bigger shows and praise Him out in the world so that I can bring more people back into that little church in front of the biggest miracle and greatest gift in the world and we can sing praise through hymns to Christ the king in that old little church.
