Blessed are You amongst women and Blest is the Fruit of Your Womb

Other than Mary, My Mother is the most selfless woman I know. Always putting others first, especially her children and family. Her children's salvation in heaven is the most important thing to her. I am thankful everyday for her and for all mothers. We should always appreciate and acknowlodge the beauty of the gift of motherhood.

Mother Mary faced so many sorrows in her life as a mother, but also great joys as well. She still is a mother to Jesus, and to us, the church. She is still doing motherly selfless acts of grace by interceding for us as she did that first time at the wedding at Cana. She loves us so much and understands what Christ did for us all, and because of that and her deep love for us, her children, she wants us to get to heaven and loves when we call out to her for her prayers to her Son. She is always ready to send graces our way, similarially our mothers on earth instantly answer when we call, help us out when we find ourselves in a pickle, and give great advice. Motherhood is a blessed calling that not all the world right now understands. We must continue to stand up for life of babies and to proclaim the joy of being a mother. Great pain and sorrow turn into great joy and love, Motherhood is a beautiful everyday reminder of what Christ did for us. Mary holds us close to her heart and brings us closer to Jesus. Remember to thank your Mother Mary, and your earthy mom for all of the sacrifices and things she has done for you, and focus this week on how you can be less self centered and more focused on the joy of doing things for others as Mother Mary and Jesus does.
