Back to Bethlehem is a song that I wrote when I was panicking about if I got everyone in my family enough gifts or if I could've done more...

I realized admist the chaos of christmas shopping people really do tend to forget the true meaning of Christmas. You may say the true meaning of Christmas is baby Jesus. Yes, but do we come out of the Christmas season changed in some way, or do we remain the same? The priest at church (Father Peter at St ignatius in ijamsville md) asked this question at mass the other day. Did Christmas entertain you, or did you change? hmm...well what did you learn or how did you grow during the advent and christmas season preparing for the coming of Christ?

New year, new resolutions right? My song is about going back to that manger where Jesus laid and think about what He did for us. Becoming man. He's God, so He didn't have to spend His time doing that. Yet He did for you and I. So while writing this song I thought about that and what Mary and Joseph were feeling and thinking. How would you feel in their shoes? Do we say yes to God's call as Mother Mary did right away, or do we hesitate putting it off? Look at the great thing that God has done! Let Him do this in your life too. Maybe the greatest gift is time spent with family. Christmas is about Love the greatest Love came into the world on that day, His love is within us all, how can we love Him, our families, and also complete strangers during the christmas season and after with this great Love that He gave us? Is this something we can take from Christmastime and go out and try to love others more? Especially those in most need of love.

Shepherd's Story is a song told by the point of view of a little shepherd boy in the field tending to his sheep when suddenly a star appeared so bright in the sky and angels started singing about a king! I mean imagine that! just going about your day then you notice a bright star look up to see it then suddenly the sky opens up and you see serephin withthe angels ( look up the description for serephin and hat they bibically accurately look like) singing to you and fellow shepherds in the field! You'd be pretty scared but also confused and so many emotions probably all at once. They say do not be afraid do you suddenly feel calm and trust God? They started singing about His holy child who is a king and that He deserves great Glory. Was this shepherd boy excited, maybe a bit confused by this news that the angels came to tell them about it? Does this foreshadow that Jesus went to the lowest of the lowinstead of going to a king or the pharisees about this news, the angels are singing to a humble shepherd boy? These are things I thought about as I told this story about a shepherd boy who went to see Jesus. He dropped what He was doing brought the sheep with Him and went to follow this star in the sky because the angels said to. He found an old cave and probably thought a king here in a cave and not a palace no way?! but he goes in trusting the angels of God and finds this little boy. I was thinking about what He might have been feeling in that moment He saw Jesus. Did Jesus smile at him? Did that shepherdbow before the King realizing who He truly is? How would I have reacted in tht moment from the angels appearing to being there with Mary and Joseph looking at The Son of God as a small baby? Maybe I wouldn't know what to say, maybe I would love to sing for HIm use my gift as the little drummer boy and offer it to serve Him, or would I simply bow and adore Him in quiet humble adoration? How would you have reacted?

Little Lamb

I was thinking about how Jesus that baby boy in that nativity set at church that I was looking at is the Lamb of God and I wondered if He knew all along that this was the case, or if it was revealed to Him later on, then I thought of the little lamb from the field probably going about it's evening munching on some tasty grass when suddenly some beings began singing in the sky and a bright light appeared! Then your shepherd took you to a cave where there was a family and a little boy lying in some hay. This song is from the little lambs point of view of meeting the Lamb of God.

Peppermint Cocoa Time and Sweet Treat are fun Christmas songs that I made while enjoying a peppermint cocoa at home by the fire. It's my favorite holiday drink, and I sure do have a sweet tooth so I love all the yummy cookies and treats at Christmastime too. Sweet treat is a little love song about someone who is sweeter than Christmas candies.

Christmas Paradise is a remix of my 2021 Tropical Beach Party Song "Paradise" but Christmas style

Home for Christmas with you is a song that took me back to memories of my 2022 love songs album "Peace Love and Pianos". This romantic song takes you to a beautiful scene sitting by the fireplace with hot chocolates and your special someone as you dance and sing christmas carols while it snows outside.

Poinsettas is a song based on the Story of the Poinsettas which my mom told me as a child. A young girl had nothing to offer the baby Jesus in the nativity so she brought weeds from alongside the road and she prayed and they became brillant bright red poinsettas. This story is a beautiful story about faith and humbly coming before the Lord to give what you can (talents,gifts,time,etc) Jesus can do great big things with very little, as I've learned from my confirmation saint St Therese.

Emmanuel a Child is Born is a song inspired by singing Christmas hymns joyfully at mass the good news of Jesus being born andgoing out telling the world!

Emmanuel means God with us! Let's tell the world He's Here!

This next one I wrote while just thinking about how great God is and how much I love God and how He deserves all the Glory and for us to sing praise more!
