Meaning Behind my Christian Music

That One Sheep- This song is about how we are all "That One Sheep" and Jesus always comes running to bring us back when we get lost and go astray even if we feel like we don't deserve His great love. He's on His way!

The Way - I can be impatient at times an need to work on that always going one thing to the next and need to stop and take time instead of praying just asking for things an occasionally thanking God for the gifts He has given me, maybe I just need to sit in silence stop and start Listening to His voice. God gives us signs answers to our prayers not always through a voice but sometimes through a song on the radio or a word of advice from a good friend. God speaks through things we understand. He's on our side rooting for us. He wants us to be in heaven with Him someday. This song I'm stopping my busy schedule and promising to stop ways of the past that led me away from Him and that "I'm finally listening" to God's Good, Holy, Wonderful Way.

Jesus is Coming - This one, I was inspired by at Christmastime people get excited for Santa coming to town (St NIcholas is great btw) but the whole purpose of Christmas and what St nicholas did was about giving was inspired by the meaning of the season, which is Christ's birth. It's not a christmas song however because I left the song for a while and was working on other projects then had an idea for it one day when suddenly I realized every time we need Jesus, There He is. He sends His angel armies on His way time an time again to rescue us when we need them and Hes always right there for us. The devil knocks us down sometimes and we cry out Who could forgive me after this or that?! I know a guy. All we have to do is stand back and wait and Hes already on His way to come save us. The evil one can't touch us when Jesus comes around and Hes always here with us with His armies of angels at His disposal to rescue anyone tempted by evil in this world. All we must do is pray and have faith and Jesus is coming.

On Hallowed Ground is a song I wrote while thinking about Heaven and how perfect it is. I want to go there so badly someday, so I have to do God's will on earth so that I can. I know that the way to Jesus is through our Mother Mary. I wrote this song thinking about the angels singing and how much I long to sing praise to Jesus up there with them. The blessed, holy saints up in heaven, how I would love to thank them in heaven for their guidance in my life. This is a song about Heaven.

Guidance- I wrote this one in tears when I was feeling lost and afraid about something. I knew that Jesus is the only way through. My Light. So i prayed for guidance and strength to get through the situation. Pray with me for guidance and the Lord's help in your life situation too.

One Nation Under God- That One is me thinking about our country and how no matter who the president is, we need Jesus to be the King of America, and the WHOLE WORLD! He is who we follow. Our choices on earth political voting, etc should be based on our Catholic beliefs first. Getting ourselves and Others (including those in other political parties) to heaven. This song is very truthful about making our Nation, One Nation Under God's will, and not that of the world.

I made the Glory Be prayer into a song as well.

Lighthouse- a truly special song to me. I started writing music for fun in high school and eventually realized my calling. I found this song in an old songbook. I sat with it at my keyboard and completed it. By that I mean I prayed the rest of it. I pray and my songs sometimes come from the prayers or answers I recieve. Jesus is Our Lighthouse, He guides us home. He can do great miracles as we know, He's God's son! "the waters part a new day starts I can see my lighthouse my lighthouse" the song continues about how i fall back into doubt at times worrying about this or that but my Lighthouse stands firm on the rocky shore though rough waves all around and a dark storm approaches that light cuts through Any Darkness.

Amen- My joyous, celebratory Holy Week Song that goes through the darkness to the Light on the third day. Rejoice and praise Him with an Amen through everything Let the Church Say AMEN for JESUS!

Times are Tough- Pretty self explainatory. "Even if the times are tough, and even if the road gets rough, I can do it" God is here with us always through His spirit, what shall we fear. I'm a child of God, I can face anything.

That Love - We're made in the image of THAT LOVE! That Love is GOD! How Incredible is that! :)

Just say the word-a song that I sang solo and as a duet with my friend Senam from church choir. I love when we say before comminuon, "I am not worthy but only say the word and my soul shall be healed." We are humans in a world of sin because of eve's first sin, but thats to Jesus's great sacrifice made with His most amazing Love, we have a chance at eternal life in heaven with HIm. I am not worthy, but YOU LORD make me worthy.

Hallowed- O Hallowed O Hallowed be Thy Name

Hallowed be His great name. I was just praying through song as I do a lot, singing to Jesus in my home alone. I incorporated the Lord's Prayer, Taught to us by Jesus in this song. Sometimes I'm praying for longer and make my songs bit long, so I make shorter edited versions of them and keep the extended versions for those interested in continuing the prayer through song.

Something Good- I was in the car one day and heard a song with such a catchy tune i wanted to sing along, that it until I heard what they were singing about!! I was shocked and very upset. I cant sit at my keyboard and just write a song, the idea just comes to me throughout the day and I write the lyrics down and scratch record the melody, then sit at the keyboard later and try to figure chords. So, I got home and I wanted to get that out of my head so I just sat at my keyboard saying "I wanna write something Good to show them Your way" Then I decided start with that. It was going to be on "the Way" album, but then I got distracted with other projects and life stuff (i tend to write choruses for songs then it takes a bit longer for the verses sometimes so I come back to it later) and didn't finish it and decided to finish it and put it on "Veritas" instead. I want the world to share this message to sing/say the good news of Jesus everyday of their lives, to make the world a better place. It's my duty as a Catholic singer songwriterr to show others Jesus through what I sing and write.

Power in the Faith- no its not that we have any power. Be humble. Our faith that God has such great power and can do great things through us! What shall we fear. God is within us through His spirit and we are made in His image. When we call upon Him in Prayer He comes to our aid.

How Can I Serve You? - "How can I be all that you made me to be how can i use the gifts that you made me to be what you want me to be" How can we glorify God through our everyday lives, work, marriage, parenthood,etc.. How can we humble ourselves to be mere specs that point people to Christ on the Cross?! That's what I want to be. A spec, pointing others to Jesus. "Lord Your Sacred Heart is so beautiful, I wanna do good for you, I wanna serve You"

Church in a small town- this is a song about my cute little home church St Ignatius and how little churches can do great things and how special that place is to me. Mt job as an artist is to get to those bigger stages not for spotlight, but to bring a larger crowd into the pews of that little church.

If you couldn't guess already, I was pretty stressed out the day I wrote "There's Always Something" haha I hear that so much! Yes it's life! There always will be something. The only time when there wont be something wrong is when we are in heaven. This world is flawed. Christ is Perfect! There is always something that makes you wanna cry or scream or run and hide form the world's problems but instead Call upon the One with the Answers

Messiah is a song that I made with this idea in mind; What would it have been like for someone whose house Jesus stopped at on His way to Jeruselem ?

The Lion The Lamb and The Dove is a song I made about the Blessed, Holy Beautiful Trinity. Our Triune God always beside us and for us.

The Unsung Father was inspired by someone who wanted to make a song for St Joseph. Though He was a man of few words, His actions listening to the angel, Listening to God, showed His great Love for God. He was the most chaste spouse of Mother Mary and father to Jesus.

Little Deeds-a song inspired by St Therese, my patron saint. St Therese of Liseux of the Child Jesus (the little flower) who taught by her little way of doing small things, with big love, we can make a great difference in the world.

Mary o Mother Mary is a hymn that I wrote praying to our blessed Mother for her intercession. I was inspired by some irish style music I had heard to try a new style for this hymn.

Mary Magdalene- I wanted to make a song inspired by her for a while and when I saw her character in the show The Chosen that just confirmed this song would be made. Mary lived in sin until Jesus came and healed her. He called her by name. SHe was saved. In the Chosen it shows her falling back into sin as we do time and time again after saves us and washes us clean at confession but then we mess up again, but He looks so lovingly at her and forgives her again because He knows how truly deeply sorry she is. I feel that way often and I figured others could releate to feeling this way too. We mess up and Jesus has to forgive us again and again but He does because He loves Us. even when we feel like oh no we've done it this time, Jesus says Come to me my child and I will give you rest! Mary Magdalene had such great faith after that and followed Jesus all the way to the cross! She stood by Him then! Do we Stand by Jesus even when things get tough?

Walk with the Saints is a song with a similar meaning as On Hallowed Ground. I want to follow the example of the Saints so that I too can become one. I want you to become a saint too! So we can all be in heaven with Jesus someday.

Child of God My Newest Oct 2025 Single Release is about how we all know who we are. We can't hide that no matter what we do. We are made in the image of God. God who is Love itself!!!! We are CHILDREN OF GOD.
