Joseph the Unsung Father

It's March, the month of St Joseph!

The Saint who didn't say a word in the Bible but is now in every Catholic church around the world! Foster Father to Jesus. He as a hardworking carpenter man, who loved Mary and wanted to take her into his home, but was afraid when she was withchild what others would think, but when an angel of the Lord appeared to him, he was quick to obey without question. He was there for Mary and baby Jesus and had great faith. He was a loving devoted hardworking father who provided for his family and protected them (moving them from place to place to keep them safe from Herod's wrath) I released a song about him in the summer of 2025 that I was inspired to share because of my brother's great love for St Joseph and how tho he didn't say any big quotes in the bible, he cared for and watched over our Lord Jesus with such a great paternal love. If You are a Parent, then it is your job to get your child to church, reading the bible, ccd, rosaries, etc, because your sole job should be getting your child to Heaven. Simple as that. My dad would tell me if i get there and you don't get there, I'm gonna have to come get you. My parents are incredible examples of that. Faith filled people with such a joy of church, and time with the Lord. My dad works hard to provide and care for his family, as many people and dads do. St Joseph we pray for your intercession today for all Fathers, and all Parents who are teaching their kids the faith. You can teach them about school, about finances, about the world, but it means nothing if you neglect their spiritual life. All they need is to get to heaven someday. You love them and want them there, so find ways that they learn best, and teach them at a young age. Kids learn by example sometimes, so show them your great love for the faith and family prayer time, and they too will adapt a great love of the Faith. St Monica prayed for her son who was caught up in horrible worldly sins, that son grew up to be St Augustine because of the prayers and influence of his mother. Parents are heroes and in this modern world, people don't respect parents and care about life of a child as they should. All that pro choice nonsense is sinful and against the faith. We must pray for all families and pray as a family because that is a powerful thing. St Joseph took care of His family, we must care for the souls of our families and all in this world, standing up for the life of children, and for mothers and fathers, and tho we should be welcoming and loving to all, we shouldn't be accepting or encouraging of any kind of sinful behavior. If friends or family members say they are doing something sinful, its our job to help them see why its wrong, if you lose the friend, then you should continue to pray for them. Your guardian angel knows what they are going through and you can even send your guardian angel to help theirs out for a bit. PRayers work so well, but also we have to sometimes speak up and let people know, Hey that's not okay! If you do this, you are risking your chance at heaven and hurting yourself. It is the job of parents, and everyone. As a former child, I know we mess up, but parents should be so loving and forgiving like Jesus and help kids find the path God is calling them to. My parents helped me to get to where I am today. Who is someone (parent, guardian, teacher, friend) who helped you grow in your faith? Today lets say a prayer for parents, teachers, and all who use their gifts from God around the world, that we may educate our children in the way of Jesus Christ. St Joseph, Blessed, Holy Saint, Pray for us.
