Jesus came again on that third day and He told the disciples what was to come next when He went into heaven. He did not leave them alone. First of all, He showed them how to recieve Him in the Eucharist & He gave them the gift of His Holy Spirit. Part God & Jesus. All One Triune God. For many the Trinity is a hard thing to understand. I personally trust Jesus when He said to Mary Magdalene “do not cling to me” meaning in an earthly form because He is now so much more so how could anyone not believe He’s capable of being 3 in one! He became man for us. His spirit Lives in all of us. I have a story I must share. It was a great blessing! I was praying one day in the car sitting behind a garbage truck when suddenly from in front of the garbage truck came a while dove all white it was magnificent and bright I looked in awe as it flew around my car a few times. I quickly did the sign of the cross and thought wow God must have big plans for me He did. He does for you too.
I was shocked and didn’t believe I deserved to see that but Jesus sent me His spirit to Let me know it’ll all be okay and my prayer was answered that I prayed for (in God's better way not the way I thought) & I know that He watches over Us, His flock like a shepherd over His sheep. I made a song “that one sheep” about just that. The Holy spirit is the spirit of Jesus in us, that helps us so we can fight temptations & go out and proclaim the good news of Jesus like the disciples did at Pentecost! Like the song “go make a difference”, let’s go out into the world and proclaim the good news of Jesus ! Let us Pray: Glory be to God the Father the Son & the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end amen. Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and enkindle in them the fire of your love .
Glory Be Prayer Song
Matthew 3:16, "And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him. And he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him".
