2025 Faith Journey:
The Jubilee year of 2025 has come to an end, and I will never forget it’s the year the Lord opened my eyes to the true beauty of our faith and His great Love. I prayed in June for Him to help me to not just go through the prayers and motions of mass but to want what He wants for me and I’ve grown in such a deep love our faith. Still always much more work to be done, but He’s answered my prayer through the intercession of st Therese. I love Jesus so much, l love the blessed trinity and Mother Mary and the saints. I really do, and I just want the world to share that love for them too. So I decided even tho I write and sing a lot of Christian music and hymns, how else could I serve Him? It was before the canonization of Carlos Acutis and I was reading about his life and how he used his platforms for Jesus on social media through memes and his website on the Eucharistic Miracles around the world. (I highly recommend checking that out btw.) So even tho I had been singing for Jesus and I knew I wanted to use the gifts He gave me to sing His praise at church and out into the world, I finally felt these words in my mind, which I shared in my last blog about the upcoming new year. "I want to continue to try to get out there onto those big stages so that I can bring more people into that little church pew." I found this summer another way Jesus was calling me to spread the faith. I grew a deep love and admiration for the saints! They are amazing and lived for Him and are great examples for us. I started one day singing prayers making up melodies to the Our Father, Glory Be, and Hail Mary, and then from there it branched into daily prayers and even saint of the day prayers as well, where I find a prayer either online or on a saint card, or I make one up, and I just sing it not even in my studio but just on my phone daily in between my day. I tend to get diatracted with many things to do when I'm praying so this upcoming year I am focused on focusing my heart and my eyes on Jesus on the Cross. I want to share His goodness with others and tell them about the saints and how they can be saints too! We all can and should! So as some of my family members would say, " get a move on it buster! "
We never know when the time will come that Jesus will come again!
I feel closest to Jesus when I'm praying through Hymns singing to Him. That's my way that I love to Pray is just singing around the house to HIm how I feel and praying through songs. (Most of which end up turning into my actual albums. Sometimes the answer I get becomes a song as well that I share with all of you.)
Everyone has their own special way of connecting with Jesus. He has many ways of repling as well, as I've mentioned in my blog about Prayers being Answered in God's way not always our own.
How has God helped you to grow or be mindful of some way to get closer to Him in 2025 or recently has He showed you something He is asking of you for 2026?
Share in the comments. Peace Be with You this year of Peace, and remember
Spread Joy and Jesus.
2025 has brought many great blessings one is an answered prayer back in June with the intercession of St Therese and more recent ones from our lady of Guadalupe
Jesus has been great to me in the jubilee year of hope
He answered my prayer to help me to want what He wants for me instead of meaningless things. I tend to like to shop a lot so I told Him to help me to want what He wants for me instead of what I want for me. Because what He wants for me is sooooo much better than anything in stores! I still enjoy shopping occasionally but I’m more interested in church icons of the saints and images of Jesus and Mary in Catholic shrine shops, and studying books about the faith and the lives of the saints, so I can become more like them.
I pray that in 2026 I continue my growth in the faith. He helped me to want to grow closer to Him and to research more about my faith and study books by the saints daily and dive headfirst into the Bible. I pray He can help you grow in your faith too this new year.
BIBLE QUOTE:Colossians 2:6-7: "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in him, being rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude".
