Article 6 - Mother Mary’s “Yes”

The archangel Gabriel came to Mary in the Bible and said “behold the handmaid of the Lord” he told Mary she is to have a child the Son of God! Mary, who was a faithful good God-fearing woman without sin replied with so much love in her heart, “may it be done to me according to your word”. That was her “yes” that changed everything. Think about what that “Yes” did for All of Us!

Do we say yes to God’s call & way for our life? Do we protest & try to reason with God when He doesn’t answer prayers in our way? Do we say yes God but not yet…? It’s going to happen in God’s time no matter what trust me on that. (I prayed about something and got it 2 years later….  When it was God’s time for it to happen.)

Do we say Yes & Do we mean it, or do we say it but then forget and do our own thing when it gets tough or when we say we will but we’ll get to it later because we have to do something else first (probably something for ourselves)?
