We found Jesus in a Hopeless Place.
Yes you know that pop song that gets in your head. the one was on the radio years back called
“We found love in a hopeless place.” Well usually, that is in fact, where we find Him.
At Mass Sunday, our Deacon was saying how he was in a place where he expected hate and people to act differently but they acted with kindness he said he saw Jesus in a place that he didn’t expect Him to be. But that’s where the Bible tells us that Jesus is the Most. That’s where Jesus tells us that He is the most! (Check the Bible for Proof!) Next time you’re around someone annoying or that’s upsetting you; seek to find the Jesus in them.
Next time you’re worrying and panicking about something small in life, or no matter how big a problem may seem, seek Jesus in it.
He is there in that situation, that person, in you, etc…At Divine Mercy Sunday we remember the words Jesus told Saint Faustina to inscribe on the image. I trust in You. He said this so that anyone who venerates that image and says
“Jesus I trust in You”, and has faith that He will and is perfectly capable of overcoming whatever situation you’re going through give it to Him to His great mercy. I highly recommend reading the diary of Saint Faustina. Jesus speaks to her about how He wants the world to know of His great love and incredible mercy. If the word truly understood it we would cry tears of joy and gratitude to our Lord.
Here are three things you can do next time you’re about to freak out over something.
•Look for Jesus in what you call a “hopeless place” today.
• Bring Jesus into that hopeless place.
Invite Him into the situation through prayer.
What about this ?
•Bringing Jesus into that issue by acting as He would.
Matthew 9:36 (NIV): "When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd".
