Super Saints!

Saintly supers are all around us.

What? You ask. A saint is a superhero?

I was in a Catholic store when I saw Saint comic books Saint Faustina and the Divine Mercy Saint Carlos Acutis and the Eucharistic miracles! When I saw them, I instantly thought wow that’s really neat! I was thinking more about that today. Saints are like superheros! Imagine a cartoon tv show on Saturday mornings that had pier Giorgio or st Benedict or Mother Theresa ! I’d love to watch that! There are some great shows and movies out about the saints. Many that I’ve found free on YouTube, as well. I thought to myself this is something we should celebrate more the lives of the saints and show and teach our children about them. We see Batman, Superman , Supergirl, & spiderman & others fighting bad guys and saving people’s lives teaching a lesson about saving the good and not liking the bad. That’s great, but what about the so so sooo many saints who, spent their whole lives fighting against evil, standing up for what’s right & good, & saving many peoples’s lives !

The saints saved peoples lives in the most important way.

They taught the truth, they taught the true faith of Jesus Christ ! They showed others the way of God the way to heaven so that we don’t live for this life but for the beautiful life in heaven that Jesus prepared for us! The saints literally save our life our heavenly life but teaching us the way to live earthly life so that we can obtain heaven.

That is why the saints saves peoples lives ! It’s awesome! They also do through intercession to our prayers and God performing miracles through them! So neat right?! See saints are cool. Some saints prayed for people and due to them living such a good life following God’s way , the people were healed or saved in some way or repented , converted from a life of sin, turning to the faith because of the intercession prayers of the holy person interceding for them through prayer!

But wait there’s more!! Some saints could fly, bilocate, have bread become roses, & more! Of course it’s not the saints doing these miracles, but it’s the power of our Great & Mighty God who works through them because they have such a great devotion to loving Him.

The saints are a great role model for our earthly life so that we can learn and grow from their virtuous lives and those who started out similar to us too. Remember there is probably a Saint for everyone and every situation. Sinner turned Saint yep tons of those ! Struggle and battle against staying in evil and sinfulness and saying not yet but I’d like to be a saint someday ? Yeah there’s a Saint for that …St Augustine!

Struggle with concentrating during prayer time so did the saints (Therese is one example)

St Josemaria said a saint is a sinner who kept trying! So that means that you can be a saint and so can I! Let’s get to work! It’s so exciting ! Get excited People! These are superheroes that we can actually grow up to be like ! X ray vision? well we have something similar. We can discern between good and bad behavior (vice or virtues!) flying …? I mean hey there is a saint who did that while so deep in prayer. St Joseph of Cupertino sooo I guess don’t rule that out…,

Fighting bad guys! St Micheal,St Padre Pio, Your Guardian Angel, & Many had to fight against demons & temptation as we do today fighting against sin with God’s Greatest superpower that He gave us, Love. ❤️
