Reflection 1 Saints among saints:

Do you want to be a saint? What are you doing to get to that point in your life today?

Yesterday at mass at St Anthony’s Chapel in Pittsburgh I heard the priest say something during his prayer after the transsubstantiation he said “when we are saints among saints together in heaven.” I thought about that while looking around at all the relics of the saints. (St Anthony’s chapel in Pgh has over 5000 relics of saints) I thought wow to be saints among saints in heaven ? All of us? It’s possible for us all? Yes! I long to become a saint so that I can be friends with many and show others the way to Jesus as all my Saint friends do for me helping me out all the time to get closer to Christ. We can all become saints while we are here on this earth for such a short time then we can be saints among saints in heaven praising Jesus for eternity ! Worshipping and singing psalms of joy, gladness, & great endless peace. We have been given the Eucharist, the word of the Lord, Mary, Jesus, & Saints many apparitions telling us ways to help, prayers we can say, we’ve been given our own guardian angel whose sole job is to get us to heaven and protect us from evil , not to mention the archangel battling for us as well, oh and the gifts & fruits we’ve been given by the HOLY SPIRIT! We have been so blessed and been given what we need. Jesus knows we can’t do it alone so He came & helped us. (Ex:divine mercy chaplet, sacred heart, precious blood, 5holy wounds prayers, the Rosary, the prayer rope, etc)

What vices(sins/otherthings) that you are currently stuck with must u give up in order to clearly see ,hear, and follow Christ? What virtues are you lacking in and need to chase after so to gain the way of the saints aka the way taught to us by Jesus Christ?

Reflection 2 -Light shines even when we can’t see it through the darkness:

Looking up at the moon one evening when clouds rolled in slowly covering it. I thought to myself even tho the darkness covered the light, the light is still there. It doesn’t go away. It’s the same with Jesus in our lives & God’s endless love for us. Even when a situation is difficult, Jesus is there, right there beside us helping us through even when we don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

His Light is shining to us “ like a lighthouse in the midst of a storm. His light will shine forevermore.”

The saints including St Mother Theresa dealt with much darkness and a time period of feeling far from God’s loving embrace but she had such great faith and did His will anyway knowing He was there with her through the dark times loving her.

Reflection 3-Oh what a joy it is to serve without being asked and without complaints if only I were better at it, but I will continue to try to Offer it up.

reflection 4:

Hymn -O God You search Me

Oh God, you’ve searched me and you know me

Here I go messing up again and all I can say is Jesus I call your name and you’re there. I saw a TikTok post that my dad sent me that if you get to heaven and you’re going through your mind all of the list of things that you’re going to say sorry to Jesus for before you even get a chance to say a word. He comes out and says I know you I knew you then I see you I saw you then I still see you. I loved you then. I love you where you are now I will continue to love you.

Wow, that’s pretty powerful. He loves us on our faith journey where we are now I beg him in my prayers help me to turn away from vices and turn closer to your ways of virtue so that I may become a virtuous saint. I love you so much that I want to do your will I wanna make you happy my Jesus, but you love us where we are right now the broken mess that we are you came to help us to grow. You’re here because you know that we can’t do it on our own. We need you. You’re not here waiting for us to be perfect. You’re here saying here let me help you take my hand I wanna help you through this and that’s so beautiful and I thank you my Jesus for doing this sweet Jesus you are so kind and good to us even when we don’t deserve it.

Reflection 5: Holy Thursday Hymns

Some of my favorite hymns are Holy Thursday Hymns and they get in my head sometimes like Pange Lingua Gloriosa which is one of my favorites and I’ve gotten this one in my head a lot goes like this: “ I, your Lord and Master, now become your servant.

I who made the moon and stars will kneel to wash you feet.

This is my commandment: to love as I have loved you.

Kneel to wash each others feet as I have done for you.”

Wow I love this hymn so much and it comes in my head occasionally I believe Jesus sends it to me as a reminder to live as He lived. To Love as He loved. This song makes me wanna cry because of what a beautiful powerful message I mean really think about it. Jesus loves us so much that He became man for us in this scene He kneels. The King of Kings, The Son of God ,Our Savior kneels to wash Our Feet!! He serves us even to the point of saving us by dying on the cross for our sins because He loves us so much. We should be the ones serving Him! The least we can do is what He asked us. To follow His example and love others and out of love to serve them as He did and in that way we also serve Him.

And out of love I feel a great want to love and serve Him better even tho I’m not always perfect at it I need to ask Him how can I love you better today Lord?

Reflection 6 Who is Jesus to You?

Who is Jesus to you is what I’m meditating on today after a beautiful homily at Saint James, the greater Church in West Virginia who is Jesus to you who do you tell people that Jesus is and whoever that is do you treat him in that way you say he’s a king? Do you treat him as such do you bow before him if you say he’s your friend, do you spend time with him? If God is our father do we love him like one especially one that sent his only son to die for us we tell others about him. We talk a big game but do we practice what we preach? Do we see Jesus in that way do we actually take a moment after explaining the Eucharist to a protestant to then spend time in adoration contemplating this great gift we’ve been given and thanking him for it?

Reflection 7 & Prayer

Thank you for being my best friend for being my family for loving me that much and for being the only one who I know is truly always there for me watch over my family all the days of our lives internal Father I offer you the body blood so of your daily beloved son our Lord Jesus Christ, tell me for since those of the whole world, secret heart of Jesus, make our hearts like mine, shine your divine mercy, forgive us, make us clean, precious blood of Jesus washes clean for our sin, eternal father I offer you five holy wounds of Jesus atonement for sins for those of the whole world I offer this upcoming holy mass intentions for my family and I in atonement for our sins and for those who are sitting right now in the world, and for those who are away from the faith and for us, who know you will, but still fault you sometimes come, Holy Spirit feel the hearts of your faithful and kindle them the fire of your divine love and for your spirit oh Lord and they should be created and you renew the face of the Earth take time to say the Saint Benedict prayer and Saint Michael the Archangel prayers to defend yourself against the evil one so you may be better equipped to grow in the virtues of the spirit, father I offer all of my suffering, all of my small sacrifices, my act of love and joy and sorrow all of my emotions of anything that I do serving you serving others or whatever it made me for the forgiveness of sinners and healing and forgiveness of the souls and purgatory, they may be free to go to their place rest in your house kingdom, and I pray for those who are most in need of your mercy. Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins save us from the fires as hell and all souls have especially mercy. Please forgive those who are deep in sin right now. Send one of your holy things to angels. send them to go down in your place. If it is your will Father please help these souls that are deep and confused. Help them before it is too late to you through your holy Saints. Holy Saints have lived lives like us. They struggled with sin, with loss , with suffering. All the world has to throw they lifted and so did you you became human Jesus so that you could know our temptations in our suffering that is how good and loving you are thank you thank you so much. I can never thank you enough for that. I beg you to look mercifully upon us during our weakest moments especially those poor and sick right now show them your light reach out to them help heal them help heal families marriages those who are most in need or struggling feel lost alone bless all those serving you in their lives in their career paths or through parenthood or being a first responder or whatever it may be I pray for clergy for all holy religious people, and

I pray that us the Catholic Church become saints when I was sitting at church today at this church that field was seen icons all around me. I truly felt in communion with the Saints that moment in church where the transubstantiation is being taken place, and Jesus is becoming present in the Eucharist and all the Saints and angels are singing along with us at the holy mass, we too are called to be Saints too we the church make us saints please Jesus holy Saints pray for us that we too, may become Saints What are we doing to get to that point to become saints a priest just seen Anthony Chapel during the preparation of the holy Eucharist said Saint among Saints those words still ring in my ears. We need to be Saint among Saints. We’re the church. We are the bride of Christ.

I was singing for a wedding and the homily was beautiful. Father Peter said that marriage is a school of love and forgiveness, and I thought about that as a married person then in my marriage, we are constantly learning more about what the other one needs to feel loved and there’s a lot of sacrificing forgiveness so as the bride of Christ his Church we must to ask Jesus how can we love you better how can we your people love you better and sacrifice more for you can we thank you for your mercy and forgiveness and thank you for your help that we may be loving and forgiving servant to those here on earth with us.
